So there I was... just relaxing in front of the tv, when the kids yelled,

Hey Mom, come see the kittens!

You can tell this is not my kids, because 1) I don't watch tv, and 2) I hope to heaven that my kids are smarter than that!!

Why this woman chose to look a gift horse in the mouth, I'll never know... If Hubbers ever did the dishes, check that - if he even figured out the "right" way to load the dishwasher, I'd be in heaven!

Except the whole I wanted kids thing. I grew up NOT wanting any kids, thanks to my mom and her messy divorces and child abusive second husband. Thank the dear Lord above that I met a man who helped me heal. And gave me a bunch of blessings in the persons of my children.

I got this cartoon in an email post. Here is the rest of the wording:

It is now more than 60 years after the Second World War in Europe ended. This cartoon is part of a memorial chain for the six million Jews, 20 million Russians, 10 million Christians and 1900 Catholic priests who were murdered, massacred, raped, burned, starved and humiliated with the German and Russian peoples looking the other way.

Now more than ever, with Iran among others, there are claims that the Holocaust was just a "myth" - it is imperative to make sure the world never forgets.

Because of the migraine, I haven't fact checked the numbers. Regardless of how many, please say a prayer for the survivors, family, and friends of the Holocaust victims. And for our world to NEVER FORGET.

No Smoking (Computer) Please!

Hubbers computer just gave up the ghost last night, smoking and everything! No, I jest - it didn't smoke exactly, just kind of steamed from some unidentified cause.

Him being the computer guru, this drives him CRAZY since he can't get the thing to boot or even access his data. And that drives ME crazy, since he is in a perpetual bad mood and I can't jolly him out of it.

He is a bear to live with in the bad mood which wouldn't be so bad if he was in a bad mood at work. HOWEVER, he has taken the first two days of the week off to nag enjoy his spring breaking children. Love him I do, but at home for so many days in a row is disconcerting!

Whatever happened, he is now sans computer and wants to use MINE!

The HORRORS!

At least it's only his email he wants to check. At least he uses his laptop for his heavy duty gaming programming interests.
