Whew.

I got in to see the Dr this morning and am so grateful that they worked me in.  I know it throws off a lot of the other appointments, but the ease my mind has been set to is so wonderful.

Baby is just fine.  Baby was moving around so much that the tech told me there was barely a need to look for the heartbeat.  It was such a relief to see the little dancing figure - I am thanking God so very much for His love and mercy.

Thank you to everyone who prayed for us both. The prayers made such a big difference for me.  I felt then and still feel now His most abiding love and strength.

So, into the 9th week with everything looking good.  I'll be seeing the midwives on my next visit, in about 2 weeks.  I will also be taking my glucose tolerance test then, at 11 weeks, because I had gestational diabetes on my last pregnancy.  I'm praying for a good result this time because I just don't want to deal with all the "stuff" that goes with GD.
