That locks video was alarming! I check Snopes too, before I repost anything.
We used to have one of those locks like they have in hotel rooms, it wasn't a chain lock, but was more like a latch and one night when we came home and opened our door, it caught and locked us out!
The thing that startled me though was how easily we were able to take a putty knife and get it off. I thought if we were able to do it, anyone could while I was home alone with our baby!!!
