The Big Day!

Tomorrow is it! The ultrasound at 21 weeks. I can't wait to get a little glimpse into the life growing in there. I feel kicks and rolls and try to imagine the way baby is laying, what is moving around. Sometimes I even find myself surprised by a kick out of the blue... like I somehow forgot I was pregnant.

Yes, we will try to find out the gender of the baby. After weeks of thinking we had agreed on a boy name, Hubbers tells me today that he doesn't like the one I do (Thomas). So it's back to the drawing board on that one.

Some other names I like? Joel, Nathanael, Samuel, Matthew, Jonathon, Timothy. They all have some kind of meaning like God is Good. I truly feel this, since He has blessed us with a baby after a loss.

Here's the first picture I have of my child, at just over 11 weeks:

At that scan, the tech tells me that it's very early, but baby looks like a boy! Hubbers, who has never been wrong at gender guessing for the kids, tells me it's a girl. TheBoy is lobbying hard for a baby brother!
