Wordless Wednesday - First Communion for CurlyGirl
So we're not quite wordless, but...
Yes, CurlyGirl is her stage name. And no, that's not her face - it belongs to Shirley Temple. But they look so much alike. Security, you understand, for my baby.
ok - when I first glanced at the picture, I thought for some reason that CurlyGirl had been wearing powder or flour on her face! :) Love her dress - so pretty and appropriate for the occasion - did you make it for her? Congratulations to her and the fam.
I have to say that I thought painting the face white must be some strange Catholic custom--how would I know?--I know little about catholicism. Too funny! I'm glad she had a wonderful communion.

Beautiful girl. Well, everything but the face portion of it. ;-)
She must have done good. Look, there's not even a grape juice stain to be found anywhere on her pristine white dress!
Happy WW!
Hopefully her smile behind the Shirley Temple mask is equally as happy!
peace, Villager
Congrats to Curly Girl, although I will admit the Shirley Temple face put in did freak me out just a little bit before I read the description. LOL
What a milestone, first communion. I'm sure she is a lovley little lady dispite the black and white face ;-}
Happy WW!

Why Shirley Temple???????
How adorable and congrats!
Blessings
Thank you for all the comments! Hubbers insisted on the mask.
Simone - Shirley Temple because CurlyGirl has the very same hair and cuteness (when she was younger, especially) as she did!
Congrats to your dear one!
Hope your head is achin'!
