This year is already off to an exciting start – with the Blue Moon ringing in January 1, and then the second day of January bringing us a palindrome date.
Palindromes usually occur with words, phrases or places – like Glenelg, Australia. It’s when the word or phrase is the same whether you arrange the letters forwards or backwards.
It turns out that January 2, 2010 was a number palindrome – 01022010. Arranged in reverse order, it’s all the same.
With all of these very fun natural events occurring right at the beginning of the year, this is certain to be a great year!
Found this in my How To Quilt newsletter!
