Happy Monday! It's a new week and coming to the end of World Breastfeeding Week (Aug 1-7).
I've officially submitted my application to La Leche League to become accredited as a leader this past week. Next Monday (8-13) I get to host the monthly LLL meeting and I'm nervous as a cat! The topic is Questions Mothers Ask and we're doing a Magic 8 Ball format. Wish me luck!
We are also attending a BEST Picnic in the Park this Friday. BEST is Breastfeeding Education and Support Team and has some of the same goals as LLL.
Here's a week's worth of menus for The Home Front. It's pretty simple, but easy. If you'd like to see more MPM, visit Organizing Junkie by clicking on the image below.
Lasagna, salad, homemade breadsticks
Crockpot Meatloaf, scalloped potatoes, green beans
Leftover Chinese food with fresh crab rangoon
Grilling Hamburgers, pasta salad, chips
Homemade Pizza, salad
Swiss Chicken Bake - An Ordinary Mom

Good luck with your LLL leadership application. One of these days I think it would be fabulous to be a doula or a nurse who works in the labor and delivery unit of the hospital.
Leftover Chinese food - that sounds good right now :) !!
Enjoy the Swiss Chicken Bake.
I HAVE to try that crab rangoon recipe!! YUM. Great luck with that application--I always admired woman who advocated breastfeeding so strongly (I'm an advocate too but not a leader :))
Have a great week, Sara.
That swiss chicken bake sounds delicious! That's great about becoming a LLL leader :D
Everything looks so good! Crab rangoon is one of dh's favorites!
have a blessed week,
Sherry
You have some great blogs!
I just got done planning our meals for the week.
Chicken Curry, Chicken Puttanesca, something salmony, out, on your own, African Peanut soup, and vegetarian lasagne.
I'm gonna have to go back through your recipes for next week's menu!
I think I may change from egg rolls to crab rangoon for this weeks menu, they look good.
The swiss chicken bake sounds good. Im going to make it next week. Thanks for the ideas! :)
I want to wish you the best on your LLL application and meeting. My local LLL was very helpful and encouraging to me when I was a new, first-time mommy far away from home and without ANY breastfeeding support except my husband. I've always been grateful for that.
It looks yummy! I'm going to have to try that Crab Rangoon recipe. Hubby will really like that one. :-)
Your menu looks wonderful, thank you for sharing!

Wow. Good luck on the LL leadership! I'm just researching weaning myself so I totally respect LL leaders! And yum on the meals (especially that swiss chicken bake).
A great menu plan. I've had Annie's meatloaf twice--we think it's yummy.
