Consumer Recall: Agent Cool Blue Listerine

Listerine Agent Cool Blue Plaque-Detecting Rinse is being recalled, all existing lots. Refunds are being offered by visiting the Listerine site.

McNEIL-PPC, Inc. has announced a voluntary nationwide consumer recall of all lots of the GLACIER MINT™ and BUBBLE BLAST™ flavors of LISTERINE® AGENT COOL BLUE™ Plaque-Detecting Rinse after the Company determined that the preservative system is not adequate against certain microorganisms. McNEIL-PPC, Inc. has been in full communication with the FDA regarding this issue and the decision to implement a voluntary recall. For further detail, please see complete press release.

Since my kids use this, I thought I'd pass along the information. No, there's no reason for you to worry since your kid just used it tonight - just discard it properly and send off for your refund.

I had never used this with my kids, but thought it looked like a pretty cool idea. Too bad...... I hope they get the problem fixed!
