Whew! I'm getting old...

Time was, I could stay up all night long, sleep 2 hours and rock along the next day without any side effects.

I have recently discovered that this is no longer the case.

I'm 31 and feeling the need for sleep. Lots of sleep.

On the other hand, my trip to the wilds of the big city to care for my mom after her surgery was sucessful. I'm very glad I was there for her first night after the event. Her husband was so worn out that I'm glad I showed up early for my "shift" and he could go home and get some sleep! I was way the "go-fer" that night, but she could not have done it herself.

It was good to see Mom, and be able to spend some time one on one, which never happens, what with all the kids, spouses, pets...
